The comforts of a boutique hotel on an organic vegetable farm
Located in the verdant and tranquil Eure river valley, La Ferme de Spoir is a B&B that offers guests comfortable accommodation, breakfast at their leisure, and the option of dining with their hosts in the evenings. We put an emphasis on local, farm-to-table cuisine, prioritizing our own products and partnering with farmers in the Eure et Loir region. Our 18th century farmhouse offers three rooms with a choice of double or queen-sized beds, as well as a family suite. A short drive from the medieval city of Chartres, the farm is an ideal getaway from Paris, only an hour’s train ride away. Conveniently situated in the Center region, we are happy to serve as a stop on the way to Brittany, the south of France, or the Loire valley châteaux.

What We Do

Our B&B has earned a 3-star label from Gîtes de France, attesting to the first-class amenities we offer our guests. Whether you’re looking for a rural weekend away or somewhere to call home while you work in the region, we’re here to make you comfortable.

A home-cooked breakfast is included in the room rates; guests may also reserve a family-style dinner. Allergies or food preferences? Just let us know. Our cuisine is influenced by our travels, but rooted in the region through the provenance of our ingredients.

As well as providing accommodation, we are also a 3-season organic vegetable farm, allowing guests to stock up on produce before they leave. We’re happy to organize farm visits for groups or children. For more information about our products, visit our online store.

Historic charm and natural beauty
The village of Spoir has existed since at least 954 AD, when records show a mill and a fortress under the name Spotheri Villa. Our newly renovated property combines the historic charm of an 18th century Beauceron farmhouse, with architectural features and materials typical of the region, with a modern working farm. The abundance of walking, biking, and horseback riding trails mean you’re never more than a step away from nature : the Camino de Santiago de Compostela (Tours branch via Chartres), the GR655, and the Véloscénie from Paris to Mont-Saint-Michel all pass through Spoir.
